Channel 4's flagship TV writing scheme. A small cohort is paired with a production company to develop an original script, with training and mentoring across the year. One of the strongest routes in for new TV writers without a broadcast credit.

Course runs January to June 2027. Two mandatory in-person weekends in London required. Writers must be available to attend both weekends and write two drafts between January-June 2027. Eligibility: no broadcast TV credits or theatrical film releases (short films under 20 minutes excluded). Writers paid for participation and script completion; Channel 4 receives first option on all rights.
