Shakespeare's Globe
A GBP 15,000 prize plus dramaturgical support for an unproduced full-length play (70 minutes or longer) responding to the climate crisis. Delivered with Climate Spring and Fern Culture; the Globe takes an 18-month option on the winning play with an aspiration to produce. No entry fee.
UK and UK-based playwrights, English language. Aimed at writers with some professional experience. No musicals, children's work or straight adaptations.
Winner to be announced at an event at the Globe in Winter 2026. Prize includes £15,000 cash, dramaturgical support, and Globe option on winning play.
