Shakespeare's Globe
The Globe's professional development programme for actors and directors, offered exclusively to its registered Studio Community. Joining is free: apply once, and as a member you can book onto intensive courses and one-off workshops that explore Shakespeare through the unique playing conditions of the Globe Theatre and Sam Wanamaker Playhouse. Bursary places are available on each course for those who can't cover the fee.
Aged 18 or older with relevant professional experience as an actor or director. Not open to those currently in training. Registration is free; individual courses are paid.
Continuous professional development programme with rolling intake. Multiple courses offered throughout the year (autumn 2026 courses listed: September-December). Free application process for eligible applicants (18+, with professional credits or accredited degree).
