Live Theatre Newcastle's biennial award. The main winner receives a full commission with a view to a main-stage production; a separate Under-26 award runs alongside. Full-length plays, judged anonymously; treatments accepted for unfinished work.
Writers aged 16+ from, living or working in the North East of England. Separate 16 to 25 award.
Biennial award. Winners announced 31 March 2026. Main award winner Andrew Thompson receives full commission. Under 26 Award won jointly by Ben Gettins and Abby J. Walker. Special awards also presented.
