Open Door
A free 8-month part-time training programme preparing aspiring actors without financial support to apply for drama school. Fortnightly sessions with the Open Door team and visiting tutors, masterclasses, free theatre tickets and a hardship fund covering audition expenses. Partner schools include RADA, LAMDA, Guildhall, Royal Welsh College and the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. This intake covers London and the South West.
Aspiring actors serious about a career, applying for a BA Acting degree, who lack the financial means to access the industry. Based in London or the South West. Annual intake.
London, Essex & South East region. Audition dates: first rounds 9th, 16th, 17th September; recalls 5th, 6th, 8th October 2026. For applicants aged 18+ from 1st October 2026, intending to apply for full-time BA Hons Acting degree for academic year 2027.
